The Rio Linda Union School District is an award-winning district with 10,500 elementary students in the north Sacramento area. Serving the communities of Rio Linda, Foothill Farms, North Highlands, McClellan Park and North Natomas, we are Sacramento County's largest elementary district.
Considered an educational innovator, the RLUSD offers a broad range of programs to enhance student achievement, community involvement and lifelong learning. We have grown from a one-room schoolhouse established in 1914 to a large, suburban district with 22 schools for K-6, but what hasn't changed is our friendly caring attitude toward our students, staff and parents.
